Vote in the poll!

Please register your vote in the poll. Hopefully this poll represents a few of the common objections that non-Catholics have to the Catholic Faith and some of the things that converts struggle with. Hopefully this will give us some ideas for discussion and the priority applied to each.

Which one did/do you struggle with most?
Papal Infallibility
Marian Doctrines
Real Presence in the Eucharist
Communion of Saints
Sacred Tradition

None of the above. All this followed quite naturally from (or in contrast to) the faith as I had come to know it through Lutheranism. The only real doctrinal stumbling block for me was what I perceived to be the "universalism" (eg. Karl Rahner's "anonymous Christians", and LG 16) in Catholicism. This stumbling block was removed by the publication of Dominus Iesus. After that, the only stumbling blocks were in my personal life.

Confession...I didn't understand why I had to confess my sins to a priest when I was always told to confess them only to God! Also struggled with Purgatory...
